Troops of 3 Battalion on Friday, while on routine patrol were ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists close to Missini village along Dikwa-Ngala road in the northern part of Borno State.
Army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, said in a statement issued yesterday that the gallant troops on Friday “cleared the ambush and neutralised three Boko Haram terrorists”.
The team recovered one AK-47 rifle with registration numbe ; KO357026 and 39 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
